Excerpt:

Verity Michaels is new to New York City, but even she knows riding in a stolen a cab is not a normal way to meet someone. Damn it if that tattoo-covered would-be felon isn’t everywhere now, and lighting everything on fire under her skirt.

His name is Hudson Fenn, and he’s frustratingly impossible to pin down. He works as a bike messenger, but has the manners of a prince—along with a strange tendency toward breaking and entering. As much as Verity knows he’s not her type, and likely to land her in jail, she can’t help but find her truest self when they’re together.

Can she be brave enough to give Hudson a real chance? Will he be bold enough to reveal the man beneath the ink, or will his secrecy doom their connection? Also, WTF is the deal with Verity’s boss? No less than thirteen of your favorite romance writers have teamed up to tell this sexy, wacky, snort-inducing tale. With them you’ll visit the world’s most irritating office, a VIP room of questionable cleanliness, and the fanciest apartment a bike messenger has ever inhabited, but you’ll still never see this ending coming.

Review2

Felony Ever After is a unique story by 13 brilliant authors that you don’t want to miss!

Verity Michaels didn’t know what she was getting herself into when she got into a taxi cab with a sexy tattooed stranger, and she wasn’t prepared for the rollercoaster ride she was about to take.

The Characters:

Verity – I absolutely love this woman’s personality. She is hilarious and the things that came out of her mouth had me in one huge laughing fit. I love how witty and fun she is and if she were a real person I think we would be best friends. She always kept me engaged because I never knew what funny thing she would say next. She was confident of herself and someone that I can admire.

Hudson – Oh, Hudson. Can we please get married? I don’t think I have ever met a more perfect character. Sexy, sweet, loving, protective, and…. did I say sexy? Hudson played a very mysterious, but appealing character throughout the book. I often come across these insane alpha males that talk like cavemen and Hudson was a nice refreshing change. He was a total gentleman and there were so many swoon-worthy moments that I thought my heart would explode from the giddiness. Hudson is officially in my top 10 BBF’s.

The Romance:

Oh, lord… the romance. While there’s a lot of sinful things going on in the bedroom, there was still quite a lot of romantic scenes. I loved the chemistry between Verity and Hudson. You can feel the spark growing as you turn the pages and it felt completely real. I don’t think I have ever come across two characters that are so in sync with each other. It was on the verge of being gross. They were that cute!

Overall:

While I enjoyed every minute of it, I felt that the ending was a little bit rushed. It might be because I simply wanted more of Verity and Hudson, and I’m totally selfish. It could also be that there were questions I had that didn’t get answered. It was a really great read, and I couldn’t even tell that 13 different authors wrote this book. It flowed well and kept me on my toes for the entire read. Anyone and everyone should take a chance on their own Felony Ever After!
